We are seeking experienced SAP S/4HANA Finance Architects to shape, lead, and deliver complex finance transformation programmes for our clients.
This is a senior, client-facing role where you will operate at the intersection of Finance, Technology, and Business Strategy – partnering with CFOs, CIOs, and transformation leaders to architect scalable, future-ready SAP landscapes.
You will be responsible for defining finance architecture roadmaps, leading S/4HANA implementations, and advising clients on next-generation finance operating models while helping build Innoverv’s growing SAP Advisory practice in Europe.
You will be responsible for:
Solution Architecture & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end design of SAP S/4HANA Finance solutions across RTR, Controlling, Financial Close, Group Reporting, Treasury, Analytics and Central Finance.
- Design enterprise-wide finance solutions integrated with adjacent enterprise platforms including BlackLine, SAP Ariba, SAP Concur, SAP BTP, consolidation tools, tax engines, treasury management systems, data warehouses and analytics platforms
- Translate business strategy and regulatory requirements into robust, scalable SAP solutions.
- Govern solution quality, design decisions, testing strategy, cut-over planning and go-live readiness.
Business & Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a trusted advisor to CFOs, Finance Directors, Controllers and Transformation Leaders.
- Lead design authorities, architecture boards and executive workshops.
- Shape finance transformation roadmaps, business cases and target operating models.
- Support large pursuits and proposals, contributing to solutioning and commercial strategy.
- Advise clients on future-state digital finance ecosystems, automation, and intelligent close capabilities.
Practice Building & Leadership
- Mentor senior consultants and architects, raising capability across Innoverv
- Contribute to thought leadership, accelerators and GTM propositions.
- Support alliance-led initiatives with SAP and ecosystem partners.
Key Qualifications:
- 12–15+ years of experience delivering SAP Finance programmes, with significant S/4HANA exposure in solution architecture.
- Deep functional expertise across Record-to-Report, FP&A, Treasury and Tax
- Strong cross-functional integration knowledge across OTC, PTP, PS, PP
- Proven experience leading greenfield, brownfield or hybrid S/4HANA programmes.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage client leadership.
- Proven success operating in collaborative, team-oriented consulting environments.
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance requirements across European finance landscapes.
Preferred Attributes
- Expertise in either FP&A, Treasury & Tax domains.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification or equivalent professional certification.
- SAP S/4HANA Finance or Architecture certifications.
- Experience with SAP Central Finance, Product Costing, Group Reporting, automation or AI solutions
